The offer is now in hand and the details are being worked out. This will be a complicated move in many ways–the transfer of our precious puppy to our daughter, completely new benefits and banking along with finding a new home and moving our possessions across a sea. We started our finances moving in the right direction with an HSBC account here and one to come locally in China. We will be able to move money back and forth (within China guidelines) and pay bills in both countries, of which there will be many complex transactions involving dual taxation. Oh joy!
